Ra Messu-t provides a family like atmosphere which allowed my daughter to feel empowered and educated. Along with the academic excellence, we are very happy with the leadership and emotional growth we have observed with our daughter since she started attending Ra Messu-t.

My daughter has been attending Ra Messut for over three years now, and she has absolutely loved her experience there. It truly feels like her home away from home. She often shares that the reason she loves Ra Messut so much is because she feels seen, she feels heard, and, in her words, she feels like she matters at the school.

In September 2020, at the height of the pandemic, I was frustrated with virtual learning and worried about my daughter falling behind. Finding Ra Messu-t Academy was truly a blessing. My daughter entered 6th grade significantly behind, but within months she was not only caught up—she was ahead academically, socially, and cognitively.
After her 8th-grade graduation, she was accepted into other schools, but I chose for her to remain at Ra Messu-t for high school. It has been the best decision. The flexible curriculum and ability to participate in local high school activities give her the best of both worlds.
The administration’s support, expertise, and genuine care are unmatched. My daughter is excited to come to school each day and continues to grow in confidence and excellence. Ra Messu-t Academy is a true gem, and my only regret is not enrolling her sooner.

Parent Rights
At Ra Messu-t Academy L3c, we take great pride in honoring the rights of parents and the vital role they play in their child’s growth and development. We believe education works best when schools and families work together in partnership.
To keep parents informed and engaged, we host quarterly meetings and parent workshops where families can learn about our classes, teaching methods, and the philosophical foundation behind our curriculum.
We also create parent-led committees, giving families an active voice in shaping the school experience. These committees are run by parents and provide opportunities to collaborate, share ideas, and build a strong community that supports all students.
We value parental choice and input, especially when it comes to the social and behavioral development of children. Our school is not here to replace parents, instead, we adapt to meet the needs of each family we serve.
By working hand-in-hand, we can create a seamless experience for students, ensuring that the values and lessons taught at school are reinforced at home. Together, we build a strong foundation that helps every child excel academically, socially, and personally.

About Our
Executive Director
Dionne Morgan is the Executive Director of Ra Messu-t Academy of Higher Learning. She holds a B.S. in Psychology and brings over 27 years of experience in educational leadership, child development, and cognitive analysis. Her work is driven by a deep commitment to empowering children and families through education.
As a former developmental therapist, Dionne saw firsthand that many children were missing key elements in their education, not only in academics, but also in the development of character, life skills, and cultural identity. Drawing on her expertise and deep connection to traditional techniques, she recognized the need for a holistic approach that prepares children to thrive in every area of life.
In 2014, Dionne and her husband, Addison Morgan III, founded Ra Messu-t Academy for their daughter and to meet this need. Guided by their Empowerment Centered Method, the academy’s core teaching philosophy, they created a nurturing environment where children receive a personalized education designed to help them grow into strong, capable, and compassionate leaders.

Mission
Our mission is to partner with parents in the rearing and development of the whole child, academically, socially, and emotionally. We recognize that many parents have demanding careers and limited time, so we provide a nurturing, structured environment that supports their child’s academic success while cultivating confident, compassionate leaders and scholars. Our goal is to fully develop each student to thrive not only in the classroom, but in every area of life.
We draw on timeless principles, like our Empowerment Centered Method (ECM), to nurture each child’s growth — academically, socially, and personally.
Through our unique Natal Personality Assessment, we discover each child’s natural talents and strengths, allowing us to create and strategize a personalized learning experience designed just for them. Our ultimate goal is to raise future leaders who will return to their communities, equipped to build a brighter and stronger future for everyone.
